Mark Cuban: NFTs Are Here To Stay!

At the North American Bitcoin Conference in Miami, FL, Billionaire Investor and Owner of the Dallas Mavericks, Mark Cuban, spent 45 minutes talking about crypto, specifically NFTs and the direction of the whole crypto space. For those who do not know, Cuban got extremely wealthy during the dot com boom, as he sold his Broadcast.com streaming company to Yahoo! For 5.7 Billion in Yahoo Stock before the dot com bubble burst. When looking at the cryptocurrency space, Cuban naturally draws on his dot com experience, stating that the early internet had the same exact feel, with the hysteria, the speculation and the uncertainty, specifically around regulation. Cuban sees the same trend again, as many companies during the 90s didn’t offer real value to the customer but had ridiculous valuations. Fast forward 20 years and many people now are saying the same thing about NFTs. Most cannot wrap their minds around the high value of an art j-peg and many skeptics are calling this the bubble of all bubbles. However, Cuban offered a different insight and believes NFTs are here to stay.
