They’re Not Telling You This About The De-Dollarization – Michael Saylor
In an interview with Kitco News, entrepreneur and business executive Michael Saylor shared his view on the fate of CBDCs and the de-dollarization that has been making headlines in recent months. As the public loses faith in the banking system in the Western world and some currencies are flat-out collapsing, the thought of implementing a CBDC has been making rounds with the belief that the dollar is slowly but surely losing its standing as the world’s reserve currency. Saylor believes that if all goes completely sideways, we will go back to a quasi-barter and trade system, which would be a step backward as a society. Saylor debunks the idea that Gold can play the role of a reserve since it has been manipulated through the centuries and doesn’t show any indications that it would not be manipulated in the future. Saylor believes, that as of now, Bitcoin is the dominant asset that can fairly provide a solution to the world’s problems.
