Flare API Portal Integrates Cosmos Hub, Expands Interchain Services

Flare API Portal integrated Cosmos Hub into its range of expansive Public API offerings, providing improved access and functionality to developers through its interchain ecosystem.

Flare API Portal, the infrastructure solutions provider for Flare, announced the expansion of its interchain services on April 23, integrating Cosmos Hub into its services.

The move seeks to improve functionality and accessibility for developers when accessing blockchain technology through the Flare API Portal’s interchain ecosystem.

The Cosmos Hub Integration

The Cosmos Hub integration will enable developer access through Flare’s Free Public APIs without incurring costs offering a “more affordable way to access blockchain technology”, according to the blog post.

According to Flare,  this integration widens the range of Flare API Portal offerings while making the process smoother for developers trying to access Cosmos Hub functionalities.

Furthermore, the integration aims to expand the range of services made available to Cosmos Hub users.

Expansion of the Google Cloud Marketplace

The expansion of the Flare API Portal through the Cosmos Hub integration is also reflected in Flare’s expanded API services available on the Google Cloud Marketplace.

“All APIs on the API Portal for Flare are available on the Google Cloud Marketplace, indicating Flare’s effort to make its services more widely accessible and scalable,” Flare official blog post reads.

Flare regards the expansion of Flare API Portal’s services and integration of Cosmos Hub as a foundational step towards the integration of more chains “in the interchain ecosystem.”

“[…]the inclusion of Cosmos Hub…aims to provide more options for those using blockchain technology in their projects or businesses, focusing on accessibility and scalability,” the company explained further.

Google Cloud as a Flare Validator

In January, Google Cloud entered a strategic partnership with the Flare Blockchain and became a validator on the network.

Serving as a key infrastructure provider for the Flare Time Series Oracle (FTSO), the partnership made Google Cloud the 100th organization to support FTSO as a validator.

Furthermore,  Flare joined the Google Startups Program, designed to boost Web3 startup growth by providing financial and business resource support.
