Bitcoin has taken an upward swing, as it currently trades at $47,300, which is up 15% in the last 7 days and 27% in the past 2 weeks. Some enthusiasts and pundits believe that the upswing was caused by a number of factors, one being that the supply of Bitcoin on the exchanges is shrinking. Other analysts suggest that the short sellers are causing the upswing, and unless we see wider organic accumulation, then the gains could be short-lived. Most of these market fluctuations in the near term don’t mean much to Bitcoin HODL’er Michael Saylor, who still feels are very early in the whole adoption stages, even at $47,000. In a 55-minute interview with Crypto Jebb, Saylor gave his eloquent explanation of why we are still early and why ⅔ of the people don’t truly understand Bitcoin. His historical examples and analogies of being able to store and transport energy give an interesting perspective on just how early we really are in the adoption of bitcoin.
